Abstract:Based on the basic relationships between transportation demand and some main variables of the national economy, this paper constructs a transportation demand forecasting neural networkmodel. Withthe algorithmof errorback propagation, the complexmappingfrom these factors to the transportation system demand is completed, and verified by a practical example for predicting the freight traffic volume.
