Abstract:Based on the discussion of the significance of measuring the car bodies dynamic parameters of railway vehicles, the methods tomeasure a car body sweight (mass), center of gravity and moment of iner- tia are proposed. The advantages and feasibilityofthese methods are analyzed and compared, and the calcu- lation methods and calculation formulas for the parameters are given. In addition, the car body s parameter measurement of an actual passenger car is introduced and the measured results are presented.
